Crescent
Empowering young adults to spend smart and meet goals with a unique approach to financial literacy.
Challenge
In the post-pandemic era, increased online shopping has obscured money visibility, leading to challenges in heightened overspending and financial instability. The app caters to a demographic aged 18 to 35, combining fun-loving and goal-oriented traits.

Solution
A budgeting and goal-setting app for that makes managing money easier in the age of online shopping. It offers comprehensive budgeting tools and an intelligent plug-in that intervenes during online purchases, helping users track financial goals and avoid overspending.

The Best Part
Crescent uses the moon’s cycle to help you stay on top of your weekly budget! By syncing with the natural rhythm of the lunar calendar, it not only keeps you aligned with the 4-week cycle but also makes budgeting a breeze to learn.

Low Fidelity Prototypes helped establish a clear direction by allowing quick iteration on layout, hierarchy, and functionality. The initial light version explored structure, while the final dark prototype refined clarity, contrast, and usability.

High Fidelity Application Prototypes
Approach
The approach is rooted in personal experiences and insights from individuals with PCOS, with a focus on addressing user emotions and crafting a tangible packaging experience to enhance their journey.
Reflection
I envision the possibility of expanding into a comprehensive wellness brand, offering products tailored for menstruation and PCOS. Moving forward, I am committed to continuously pushing the boundaries during photoshoots to bolder media representations.
